Camp well blown!

On April 28, the stage was set for Green Camp at Klingenberg cinema

At Green Camp, we wanted to focus on positive marketing and communication of sustainability. Many companies refuse to communicate sustainability. It may be the fear of saying too little - or too much - that stops the process. The goal was for the participants at the conference to have a driving force in the future of sustainability work. That during the day they should get inspiration and tools that can be used further in their company.

And what a day it was! In the hall, there were people from more than 115 different companies who mainly work in marketing, communication and sustainability. Many of the participants came from companies in Oslo and Viken, but there were also visitors from both West Norway, Troms and Finnmark and in fact all the way from Svalbard.

The program was divided into 3 halls, with lectures and workshops. In the largest hall, there were lectures from, among others, Kristin Fjeld from Polestar, Hilde Thoresen from NRK, Kjell Rakkenes from Nortura, Climate Pilot Julie Marie Følstad and Associate Professor at BI, Per Espen Stoknes. In hall 2, among others, Tonje Kaada from Øyafestivalen, Erik Bugge from Kobler and Iselin Stensrud from Mindshare performed.

During the day, Camilla Elise Berg and Marte Alstad Hansen from Awake held two workshops on "How to communicate sustainability?" At this workshop, the participants received concrete and useful tools that they brought back to their companies.

For Nr. 17 was the goal of holding a conference in the spirit of festival.

- The name Green Camp was a conscious choice, says the general manager of Nr. 17, Tanja Schøien. - We wanted to create more festival atmosphere and less rigid conference. It was important to us that Green Camp should also be an arena for creating new relationships and opening up for new collaborations further, she can tell.

There were a total of 17 lectures and 2 workshops during the day. Host Jenny Skavlan entertained the campers with her sincere commitment to the theme, her naturally relaxed form and top humor. There was also entertainment on the poster. During the opening of Green Camp, 35 young singers from Bislett boys' choir stood on stage and started the day with Gunerius by Karpe and Pie Jesu. To round off the day, the Saturday Council with Live Nelvik at the helm of a sustainability special, together with advisers Jonis Josef, Jenny Skavlan and Christian Lodgaard.

Thanks to everyone who came and contributed on stage, in the halls and premises!
