We are now launching our own sustainability camp with Jenny Skavlan as the presenter
- The goal of Green Camp is to create an arena for collaboration across environments, so that we can help each other with communication challenges when it comes to sustainability, says initiator and general manager of the communications agency Nr. 17, Tanja Schøien.
The idea is that Green Camp, described as a "conference with a festival atmosphere", will guide, inspire and give camp participants useful tools in the work of communicating sustainability.
Jenny Skavlan, who has a strong commitment to sustainability for the reuse of clothing, will be a lecturer at Green Camp.
- Green Camp has a kind of festival and workshop spirit about it that I like very much, and I believe that through collaboration and innovation you can create even better communication and communication about what sustainability can be, says Jenny Skavlan.

Nr. 17 is a communication company with a focus on collaboration, and aims to Green Camp can unite actors from different sectors and environments and that participants can find good partners for the way forward. Even Nr. 17 entered into a collaboration with the Marketing Association in Oslo (MFO).
- We at MFO were looking for good partners to put sustainability and communication on the agenda and then Nr. 17 presented their plans to us, then we quickly realized that this was the right arena for us and our members. Our responsibility in MFO is to keep our members professionally up to date and also make our industry responsible in important fields like this. We really liked the ambitions of Nr. 17 and we also know that our members have requested more content and knowledge on the topic.
Nr. 17 has received support from Oslo Municipality and the County Municipality to focus on the importance of communication in the work with sustainability, and the conference is aimed especially at market and communication people who work in small and medium-sized companies. Green Camp will be held at Klingenberg cinema on 27 January 2022 and there will be parallel sessions in different halls, where actors such as NRK, Schibsted, Nationaltheatret, Orkla, Øyafestivalen and Awake have already been booked in as content and lecture resources. Now Nr. 17 is looking for more collaborations, and hopes to be able to create an arena for collaboration across business, knowledge environments and public institutions.
